Welcome to Bike4Fun, the website of an organization of bicycle retailers dedicated to improving the quality
of life in their communities through the development and support of bicycling facilities and programs.
The organization raises money for its various functions through special cycling events like Madison's Miles of Smiles
coming in October 2008.
Another focus of the group is improving the knowledge and professionalism of its members through seminars
and clinics for owners and staff. The next such event is an NBDA Regional Seminar, January 22, 2007.
Annual attendance at the Bicycle Summit in Washington DC is our way to keep issues and local projects in
the eyes of our elected officials and to further the development and funding of projects here in Georgia that
will enable more citiizens to get out and safely enjoy their bicycles. This year the National Bicycle Dealers Association
is offering a Scholarship to the DC Bike Summit for dealers
attending for the first time.
The event is in March every year.
The 2007 Ride to Capital was a great success. Its purpose is
to raise support for the development of regional systems of bicycling and pedestrian networks.
